Hi vegans!

I'm looking for some good sites that feature super cheap vegan meals. I'm on a very restricted budget, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it stretch. I've seen a lot of omni blogs/sites like this one, so I'm looking for a similar vegan version.

Thanks!

I've actually had a vegan version of those lentil tacos before, since they were floating around pinterest. They were delicious =]. Thanks!

I really like http://theveganstoner.com/
I also like http://foodgazmik.blogspot.com/ but weirdly I can only get that page to open on my phone.

I've been eating a lot out of my rice cooker lately. Add a serving or two of rice and the proper amount of water for cooking, then add a can of chickpeas, and on top of that you can layer any frozen veggies you like (I typically add shredded carrot, cauliflower, corn, spinach, and julienned string beans). In 20-30 minutes it all comes out perfectly steamed and ready to eat. Just add your favorite sauce. I typically eat it with Braggs seasoning and avocado slices.

Gahh I don't have a rice cooker, unfortunately! I had one at my old apartment, but it was my housemate's, so she took it with her =[.

The cookbook Vegan on the Cheap is good. I also like one that I think is called Vegan Cooking for One or Two.

For blogs - Cheap Vegan Chick (http://www.cheapveganchick.com) has recipes and other info about being vegan on a budget -- also, the Cheap Recipe Blog (http://www.cheaprecipeblog.com/category/recipes/vegan/) has a vegan section.

Hope that helps!
