Oatmeal gives me a ton of energy, it's interesting to hear you say that.

Granola, interesting. Seems redundant, but makes sense (I find granola too sweet typically, so cutting it would work.) I definitely do the chopped walnuts. I need some almonds these days thanks!

Peanutbutter
Bacos (surprisingly vegan) and maple syrup
Walnuts and pears

I also like to make my own "instant" oatmeal packets: quick oats, powdered soy milk, nuts, dried fruit (strawberries, blueberries, pineapple or coconut), put in a snack bag and then when ready dump it in a mug with some hot water.

I've looked at that but it doesn't have much protein. I wish there were cheaper soymilks with more protein.

I believe almond milk has more protein.

Peanut butter & chocolate. It tastes like a no-bake cookie. :)

Same. Raisins are my default. Cinnamon is a nice extra when I have it. Sugar is my lazy option

Though now I'm going to try PB

Nothing beats oatmeal with lingonberry jam for breakfast, but if I have to without applesauce works too.

I like adding apples while it's still cooking.

Rightnow it's blackberry season where I am, so I've been adding those.

Also like adding mashed banana.

I usually just add a big glob of whatever jam I have in the house, and then mix in some walnuts.

Canned pumpkin with maple syrup and spices! Cinnamon or cloves or cardamom are great. Also if you cook equal parts of oatmeal and soymilk on medium heat for a while it gets very creamy and yummy, but that's more of a weekend breakfast than a frantic Monday morning one.

Bananas, cinnamon, and rice syrup agave nectar or honey.

I am an oatmeal fiend. Eat it EVERY morning.
My staple is fresh or dried berries, depending on the season. Bit of sugar. Chia seeds. Raw almonds or cashews. I add half a cup of almond milk when it's cooked.

Depending on what I've got around, I've done the PB and chocolate chips a few times when I'm feeling indulgent, and a few days ago I did chopped apples and apple pie spices with a pinch of salt and sugar and cooked it.

I also switched from instant oats to regular - they have a much better texture but take longer to cook.

Also, you can sneak in about 1/4 to a 1/3 cup chopped spinach without altering the taste too much, and it feels great to get some greens in with breakfast.
